🌿 Our Journey to Inner Peace: The Birth of Domus Naturae 🌿
It all began with a dream of tranquility. Our founder, Charles B. Herrero, sought solace from the hustle and bustle of city life, retreating to a serene forest in Baay-Licuan, Abra, where he built a garden. There, surrounded by nature’s beauty and a loving small community, he rediscovered life’s simple joys.
Originally, the garden was meant to fund his peaceful retreat. But over time, it flourished into thriving farms. Among the vibrant greenery, Charles discovered a deep fascination for herbs. Experimenting with their flavors and aromas—from food to condiments—he was captivated by their ability to elevate the senses.
One herb stole his heart: rosemary. Its versatility, particularly in enhancing the flavors of meats, amazed him. But his passion didn’t stop at the kitchen. With over a hundred rosemary plants flourishing in his garden—more than any home could need—he turned to research. What he found changed his life forever.

Charles learned that rosemary wasn’t just a culinary delight. It was a natural powerhouse for skin rejuvenation, hair growth, physical healing, and mental clarity. Driven by curiosity, he began experimenting, carefully extracting rosemary essential oils and hydrosols.
Eager to share its potential, he gifted hundreds of samples to his community and friends. For an entire year, he observed its effects firsthand. The results exceeded expectations—proving not only the science but also revealing benefits far beyond what he had imagined.
Encouraged by the transformation rosemary brought to others, Charles realized his purpose. His humble retreat in the forest blossomed into something greater: a mission to share nature’s wonders with the world.
Thus, Domus Naturae Beauty and Wellness was born—a celebration of nature’s gifts, crafted with care, love, and a deep respect for the healing power of herbs.

70% of our organization comprises of indigenous farmers from Abra Philippines. Your trust and support with our products fuel us to keep on growing herbs, planting trees where we get our wild crafted extracts and to hire more farmers to uplift our poor local community.
